Today in our society lives big amount of people that have need in very basic things: food and clothing. Hard economical situation influenced lives of these people: many of them have neither work nor habitation. Children starve and don't know what it means to receive a gift on a holiday. Biggest part of pensioners has to live only on $35 US per month and some of them only on $21 US.

Director of Bible center and pastor of New Life church of Almaty (Kazakhstan) Maxim Maximov made decision to provide real help to the people who live under poverty line. In the end of 1998 on celebration of the Day of the City, 500 pensioners received as the gifts food packages that consisted of bred, potatoes, cereals and so on.

Every day "New Life" Bible Center helps to at least 5 persons free of charge. The help may consist of both food and clothes.
